Bunny

Bunny captured many peoples hearts when she was on the rescue. Under a year old she came in from the pound terribly nervous and a mess. After a good groom and a couple of weeks in our care she started to come out of her shell and she is now doing brilliantly!

After a couple of weeks in our care the perfect family for Bunny ended up finding her. Travelling all the way down from Scotland the couple clearly loved Bunny straight away. Although still very nervous Bunny went away and is now a very happy, very spoilt girl! The couples daughter manages to email every week updating me on Bunny so I have a lot to say about her and plenty of pictures, that is why I am going to do it later when I have the time... just so you know though Bunny is doing great! As you can see from the few photos there Bunny is very happy with her family :)

Terry

Terry was taken from the pound after nearly being put down due to being 'agressive'. Although we did have a few bites from Terry it was all out of nervousness. Terry was rehomed to a lovely experienced couple and their three dogs, 2 staffie crosses (Ruth and Noah) and a yorkshire terrier (Milo). After around a month Terry is doing great. He will now have his harness on quite happily and has made himself at home. As he has got used to his new home his puppy side is starting to come through but his new owners love him more than anything. He is responding very well to commands and now knows the word 'no' and knows to stop misbehaving with the word. I am so proud of him and especially his new owners who have put all the work into him. As can be seen from the pictures Terry is really enjoying himself with his new friends and his new owners have found his favourite toy is plastic bottles!

Mabel
Now who can forget darling Mabel. Mabel came in from the pound, old, shaky and she really was a sad sight. When I first met her I nearly had tears in my eyes. But other than being extremely underweight and very nervous she was a sweet girl. We thought she'd be with us for months but within hours of her being on facebook Mabel had found her forever home and in 2 days went off to her new home in Scotland to a very experienced couple, who are experienced with lurchers.

From Mabels new owner:
She is ruling the roost here! She is Chief of the Me Me tribe!! Me, me, me, me all the time. But she does it with that 'you love me so much' look in her eye, and constantly wagging her tail. Basil and Mandy (my two old dogs who she lives with), dont know whats hit them. Mabel decides, when its time to go out, when its time to eat, when its time to have the fire on, when its time to go to bed, when its time to get up!! They adore her as we do, but she is a bit of a Daddys girl and sits on Dave's knee from the min her comes home from work
Also since being with her new owner Mabel has gone from a measley 11.7kg to a healthy 14kg! You may remember these photos from shortly after rehomed, of Mabels fun times in the snow :)
