Dorry about the lack of updates. As I said I went away to London for the week, then I've had the dog show this weekend so I've had no time to post. On a more positive note we've nearly raised £450 in 2 days and theres still tomorrow to go... as long as the weather stays good. So thats great and doubt anyone there will read this blog but I would just like to give a big thank you to: Andy, the lovely man who has organised this fun dog show and is donating the money to us; Kirsty from Indago photography for taking some amazing photos and donating all the money from the photo taking to the rescue, Kathy of course for taking me along to such an amazing event and every single person that has taken part in the Fun Dog Show as well as some very amazing dogs!
I can not begin to say how great a time I have had. I have met some fantastic people. This event was not only to raise money but to also raise awareness and in doing so we may have found some new fosterers for small dogs and also have found a very inspiring young girl. This 11 year old girl has being saving up all her pocket money and change this year and in December will be donating it to an animal charity. After finding out about us today she says it will go to our rescue simply because no money we get is for profit. It all goes straight towards the vet bills for the dogs. So I would like to thank this little girl for her generosity, just in the thought of it and hopefully she will do this at the end of the year. I just hope posting it here will inspire more people to do the same thing
