I failed...

... but I won. Haha. Makes no sense does it? Well I failed at being a fosterer but I can't deny how happy I am that I am now officially Tinks' owner. Tinks was the girl that ran away the first day we got her, who we found in the middle of the night and who came in so scared we were going to shout at her that she weed. Tinks is also the girl who has settled in to the family. Who after time finally felt comfortable with where she was, and who learnt what a home was.

When Tinks first came she was so scared to go upstairs and on to any furniture. But now she'll happily jump in my bed at night and is happily layed next to me on the sofa now. Some people may not like their dogs on furniture but to me dogs are family, they can go wherever I go. And one of the best things about little Tinks is her and Sally are already starting to bond. Sally is not the kind of dog to try play with other dogs. She's 10 now and is just laid back with them all but with Tinks she'll happily play with her and seeing them both try to dog play together is the cutest thing. They will learn, but when you have an old dog used to an older dog who doesn't play and a dog thats never lived with other dogs... it must be strange. Anyway I think Tinks will do well with other foster dogs too, which brings me to that point. Yes I will continue to foster. The rescue are currently desperate for more fosterers and I couldn't let, not only them, but the dogs down by not helping out. So yeah, this house will become a mad 2/3 dog house from now on but I couldn't care less. Me and my dad love helping out and as my dad said if we ever won the lottery first thing we'd do is get a big house for more foster dogs so we could help out rescuing even more. We can dream, can we not?

Anyway I'm going to take my 2 girls for a nice walk now,I've put some pictures up of our walk yesterday with Tinks smiling happily being let off the lead in the fields. I will give this little girl the best life she deserves and update on here as she progresses, I'm going to continue the training and make her an even smarter dog. Haha.

Lucy, Tinks and Sally x
