So Phoebe arrived today and what a wonderful girl she is. She is quite a bit bigger than what I thought, not fat big but tall and skinny big. I'm thinking she may be crossed with a greyhound or something of the sort. Her energy levels speak greyhound/collie anyway. She proved this when we went out for a walk into the fields. Gosh she can run so fast through the fields, well gallop and race away. Seeing her running alongside Sally was such a nice feeling. They both looked so free and well together.
Phoebe definitely has a collie brain and can learn tricks in a snap. Within an hour of her being here I had taught her to lay down and she's getting the hang of rolling over. She could definitely win some awards for that or maybe even agility once she's fully trained. She is only 20 months old so getting it all in early is great for her.
She's such a cuddly dog, and loves jumping up with her paws around your waist and gives big slobbery kisses. Not that thats the best point in the world, haha. She has found her place on the armchair and just fits on it all curled up with her dangly, long legs sticking out. She's such a beautiful dog and will be perfect for an active family, looking to train agility or maybe even flyball. She's such an active dog so will need an active home willing to look after and interact with her to keep her mind and body busy :)
Lucy and Phoebe - will add pictures tomorow
