I've never really said this

... I've never really mentioned how proud I am of my dog Sally throughout fostering. Sally would have being the only thing that would ever put me off fostering and the fact that she's settled into it great. With Bella she was a little confused and would growl at Bella if she tried to play with her but after that she kinda learnt to accept it. Judy was the one who dominated her. And Holly just ignored her and they'd happily sleep next to her. She loved Shadow and kept trying to play with him and Phoebe... well I think she was a little scared of Phoebes size, haha. But when Phoebe hit her on the head in a play gesture she just gave a confused look and completely ignored her. She ignores the poodles, even when Harley does growl at her due to being jealous but she doesn't growl back or show any signs of agression. So yes it's fair to say how proud I am of her and she does deserve a post of her very own for this. Also having other dogs around has helped fatten her up a bit. After my dog, Em, died in December she didn't eat as much and it would take her over a week to clear a bowl of food but now she's back to her usual eating habits, we think due to the competition haha. She also loves having the poodles leftovers.

So thought I'd share a little bit about Sally. Sally is a long haired jack russel cross. We got her when she was a puppy from our local kennels and waited a week to find out if her old owners would come forward. They didn't so Sally was all ours, she was a very skinny looking thing, but was well trained. She would sit, stay, come and was so well behaved. Now shes been with us 10 years and the house wouldn't be the same without her. Shes completely nuts and a complete scruff but thats why we love her. And the best bit is she is a total role model for our fosters because shes so well behaved and so calm and quiet... okay, she may bark at dogs outside and the postman but don't all dogs do that? All in all I think fosterings helped her and has definitely got her to socialise more with her own kind, haha.

As for the poodles? There still here, being their cute cuddly selves. Still waiting for their forever home.
